Politics Today

Romney Out
Mitt Romney has dropped his bid for the Republican nomination.  This leaves McCain and Huckabee.  This, in turn, means McCain is definitely going to be the Republican nominee.  Huckabee may as well drop out later today.  (Though it's hard to say whether I think McCain or Huckabee will be easier to beat.)

McCain:  "Shoot me!  Don't parial birth abort me!  Don't gay marry me!  See?  I can change!"
McCain met with conservatives today in an attempt to convince them that he's deserves their votes.  (In another spectacular display of the worsening fractures within the GOP, many conservatives--including absolute mental retards like Limbaugh and Coulter--think McCain is too liberal and are for once spewing hatred toward a member of their own party.)

McCain's desperation led him to call Rev. Jonathan Falwell, the still-living son of the finally-dead Rev. Jerry Falwell.  The senior Falwell--a raving, hate-filled nutjob--was always near the top of the list when Republicans needed someone to shore up the conservatives.  Jonthan Falwell came away saying he's still not ready to endorse a nominee.  (Does this mean he may endorse Huckabee?  haha.)  Jerry Falwell, by the way, is endorsing his new boss, Satan.

At any rate, conservatives my not bite.  Cleta Mitchell, chairman of the American Conservative Union Foundation, said "He's 70,000 years old.  He's not going to change."  Ouch!

Dickhead Cheney's Same Tired Bullshit
Dick Cheney gave some worthless, Bush-loving speech today--most of which I was unable to read because my lunch started coming up.  One thing I thought was hilarious though was when he said he was "certain" that one of the GOP candidates would be the next president.  Well, he was "certain" about Iraq's weapons of mass destruction too.  Cheney's word ain't worth much these days.

Democratic Fundraising
Barack Obama has raised $7 million since Super Tuesday.  Hillary Clinton set a goal of $3 million in 3 days and so far has raised $4 million (some of which was mine).
