Republicans: "I vote the party, not the person"

CNN interviewed a Pennsylvania college student and his friend in one of their stories about Romney dropping out of the race.  Both are Romney supporters but they said John McCain could get their support too.  The friend summed up McCain's chances by saying, "I vote the party, not the person."

It's no surprise that Republicans are like a giant flock of brain-damaged sheep.  We know most of them will vote for whomever Billy Bob next door tells his wife (Thelma Lou) to vote for.  What should shock people is that this sort of pervasive stupidity reaches all the way to college-age kids.

I used to think this next generation was going to save the planet.  But I'm starting to think the youth of today may be just as much of a disaster as the bunch of us who have been ruining the joint for centuries.
